About

Opened in 2005, the Allianz Arena is the home of Bayern Munich. Its façade is made up of 2,784 inflatable cushions, visible as soon as you approach the ground, which can be lit up in different colours. With more than 75,000 seats, it hosts the matches of the Bavarian club, founded in 1900.

The guided tour takes you from the dressing rooms to the players' tunnel, the press conference room, the Südkurve and the edge of the pitch. It continues in the museum. Allow between two hours and two and a half hours.

Tours start every day between 10am and 5.30pm, and the museum is open from 10am to 6pm. No tours are offered on home match days or during certain events.

Did you know?

The Allianz Arena is famous as the home of the mighty Bayern Munich, but it is less well known that it also staged the matches of TSV 1860 Munich, right from the 2005-06 season. The sky-blue and white side left the 75,000-seat ground in 2017, undone by its problems on the pitch and its finances, and now plays in the fourth tier. A return is off the table: Bayern, sole owner of the venue since 2006, has closed the door for good.
