About

Opened in 1995 in the Zaidín district, the Nuevo Los Cármenes is the home of Granada CF. Built to replace the old Los Cármenes, it was officially inaugurated on 16 May with a match between Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen. Granada played there for the first time on 22 August that year, against Real Betis. The ground holds 21,000 spectators.

Tours are reserved for groups of more than ten people, with a maximum of twenty participants. They can take place Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, between 9 am and 2 pm, once confirmed by the club.

Did you know?

Among these memorable matches in Granada, one still holds a special place in the history of Spanish football. It happened at the Nuevo Los Cármenes on 25 March 2011, in a game against the Czech Republic. That day, Spanish striker David Villa became the national team's all-time leading scorer. He netted both of Spain's goals that evening, moving past the record of 44 goals set by Spanish football legend Raúl.
