About

The RCDE Stadium is the home of RCD Espanyol. Born of an international competition launched by the club in 2002, the project by Mark Fenwick and Esteve Gasulla brought the Pericos back to a ground of their own after their years at Montjuïc. With a capacity of 38,529, it stands out for its translucent façade lit up in the club's colours and its roof covered with solar panels.

The RCDE Tour takes you behind the scenes of the stadium and through several areas devoted to Espanyol's history. The Sala Ricardo Zamora brings together the club's trophies, while the players' tunnel displays more than 100 shirts worn by players down the years. The tour ends with a 360° film about the club's history and values.

Tours run Monday to Friday at 12 noon and 4 pm, and on Saturdays at 11 am and 1 pm. They never take place the day after a home match.

Did you know?

RCDE Stadium was opened on 2 August 2009 with a friendly between Espanyol and Liverpool. That day, the hosts swept the Reds aside with a 3-0 win. As the first player to score at the ground, Luis Garcia will remember the occasion for a long time.
