Signal Iduna Park

Opened on 2 April 1974 as the Westfalenstadion with a friendly against Schalke 04, the Signal Iduna Park was built for the World Cup held in Germany that same year. It is the home of Borussia Dortmund and, with 81,365 seats, the largest football stadium in the country. Its Südtribüne, nicknamed the "Yellow Wall", holds around 25,000 fans and is the biggest standing terrace in Europe.

The self-guided visit takes you to the Südtribüne, the players' dressing room, the mixed zone and the bench. Guided tours go further, taking in the players' tunnel, the media centre, hospitality areas, the West stand and even the stadium jail, a real curiosity! The meeting point is at the FanWelt, on the north side of the stadium. The self-guided visit is not accessible to wheelchair users, but an adapted guided tour is available. Some areas may be closed because of matches, training sessions or other events.

The self-guided visit runs on selected days between 10am and 5.30pm, never on match days. The Borusseum, the club museum, is open daily from 9.30am to 6.30pm.
