About

Set in the heart of the Foro Italico, the Stadio Olimpico is home to both AS Roma and Lazio. Opened in 1953, it hosted the 1960 Olympic Games, the 1990 World Cup final and four European finals, including the 2009 Champions League final. The Squadra Azzurra also plays its Six Nations matches here.

The Stadio Olimpico Tour begins with the "Walk of Legends", devoted to the great names who have shaped the venue's history. Visitors are then taken through the mixed zone, the dressing rooms of AS Roma, Lazio and the Italian Football Federation, the "Trophy Portal", the players' tunnel and the stands. The route continues to the technical area, in front of the benches, before ending at the official store.

The tour runs every day from 10 am to 6 pm, except on match days. It may also be altered depending on the events held at the ground.

Did you know?

On 8 July 1990, the Stadio Olimpico hosted the FIFA World Cup final. That evening, Germany got the better of Diego Maradona's Argentina, winning 1-0 with a penalty from Andreas Brehme and claiming their third world title.
