About

The Stadium opened its gates in 1949, on the Île du Ramier. As the largest sports venue in Toulouse Métropole, it hosts Toulouse FC, founded in 1937, as well as major Stade Toulousain fixtures. It has also staged matches at the FIFA World Cup, the European Championship and the Rugby World Cup.

Toulouse FC occasionally opens up the Stadium's backstage areas during dedicated events. For Fans Day 2026, reserved for season-ticket holders, the club offered a look at the players' tunnel, the professional dressing rooms, the mixed zone and the pitchside area. No regular guided tours are currently announced.

Did you know?

Beyond the major sporting events it has hosted over the course of its existence, the Stadium de Toulouse also enjoyed the extraordinary privilege of staging a Michael Jackson concert, as part of the legendary Dangerous World Tour. In September 1992, for more than two intense hours, the King of Pop delivered an outstanding show in front of nearly 40,000 people. That attendance record still stands today for a cultural event held inside the ground. Who said sport was all that mattered at the Stadium?
