About
Originally known as the Sardegna Arena, the Unipol Domus is a temporary ground built in just 127 days in 2017, pending the new stadium that will replace the old Sant'Elia. Cagliari Calcio have played there since September of that same year. It holds 16,412 spectators.
The Cagliari 1920 museum, housed inside the ground, tells the story of the club. The guided stadium tour takes in the press room, the dressing rooms and the edge of the pitch.
The museum is open Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 8pm. Tours depart every hour, from 10am to 6pm.
Did you know?
The Unipol Domus is Cagliari Calcio's temporary home. The ageing Stadio Sant'Elia is due to be demolished and rebuilt over the coming years. So this is a ground well worth visiting, since it will be taken out of service for decades to come.
