About

Villa Park has been Aston Villa's home since April 1897. Originally known as the Aston Lower Grounds, it has hosted the Villans' home matches ever since. The ground has staged matches at the 1966 World Cup and Euro 96, as well as the last ever Cup Winners' Cup final, in 1999. The current three-tier Trinity Road Stand opened in 2001. Villa Park is currently undergoing a major redevelopment of its North Stand, which will take the capacity beyond 50,000.

The Stadium Tour takes you pitchside and to the dugouts, into the press conference room and the media centre, and past the club's trophies.

Tours run Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm, Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 4pm.

Did you know?

Villa Park's undisputed attendance record was set on an FA Cup afternoon. In 1946, for a tie against Derby County, 76,588 spectators packed into a ground that was far bigger back then, only to watch the Villans lose 4-3.
