About

Built in Govan in 1899, Ibrox is the historic home of Rangers. The Bill Struth Main Stand, designed by architect Archibald Leitch, and the famous marble staircase remain among the ground's most iconic features.

The Ibrox tour lasts 60 to 90 minutes and takes in the dressing rooms, the players' tunnel, the directors' box, the marble staircase, the trophy room and the pitchside. The Rangers Museum can be explored at your own pace in 45 minutes to an hour. There is also a fifteen-minute express tour covering the tunnel, the pitchside and the dugout.

Before its many redevelopments, Ibrox could hold well over a hundred thousand people. The attendance record says it all: 118,567 spectators for an Old Firm derby against Celtic in 1939. That is more than twice the ground's capacity today.
