About

Opened in 1972 to designs by architect Roger Taillibert, the Parc des Princes has been Paris Saint-Germain's home ground since 1974. It followed a first velodrome inaugurated in 1897 on this historic site of Parisian sport. Set between the Porte d'Auteuil and the Porte de Saint-Cloud, it has staged more than 1,000 official PSG matches, along with many major international occasions, from Euro 1984 to the 2019 Women's World Cup.

Allow about an hour and a half to explore behind the scenes at the stadium. The tour takes in the concierge desk, the Borelli stand, the Avenue du Parc, the mixed zone, the dressing room, the tunnel, the edge of the pitch, the benches, the Deck and the Carré. An audio guide in nine languages accompanies the visit.

Did you know?

It was at the Parc des Princes that Les Bleus suffered one of the bitterest disappointments in their history. It happened in a match against Bulgaria in 1993. In the dying seconds, Emil Kostadinov struck the winning goal for the Bulgarians (2-1), a dagger to the heart that denied the France national team a place at the 1994 World Cup.
