About

Opened in 1972 to a design by architect Roger Taillibert, the Parc des Princes has been Paris Saint-Germain's home ground since 1974. It replaced an earlier velodrome inaugurated in 1897 on this historic site of Parisian sport. Set between the Porte d'Auteuil and the Porte de Saint-Cloud, it has staged more than 1,000 official PSG matches, along with many major international occasions, from Euro 1984 to the 2019 Women's World Cup.

Allow around an hour and a half to explore behind the scenes. The route takes you to the concierge desk, the Borelli stand, the Avenue du Parc, the mixed zone, the dressing room, the tunnel, pitchside, the benches, the Deck and the Carré. An audio guide in nine languages accompanies the tour.

Did you know?

It was at the Parc des Princes that France suffered one of the bitterest disappointments in their history. It came in a match against Bulgaria in 1993. In the final seconds, Emil Kostadinov scored the winning goal for the Bulgarians (2-1), a devastating blow that cost France their place at the 1994 World Cup.
